How it all started...

2000: The journey to where Holy Trinity is now began in the year 2000 when Fr. Greg Smith completed seminary and moved from Pennsylvania to the Denver area to plant a church. Alongside a handful of supporters, Greg and his family founded Community at the Well, a community focused on cultivating small groups that met weekly in each other's homes. The committed members of Community at the Well helped establish a strong and stable Anglican faith community in the Broomfield area.

2000-2009:  Fr. Greg led Community at the Well into a relationship with the newly formed Anglican Mission in the Americas. It’s with the AMIA that the church began its association with foreign partners from Rwanda, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, and other East African Anglican Churches. Fr. Greg also led Community at the Well to join with other Broomfield area Anglican Churches, combining and unifying multiples sites. After this unification the church changed its name to Epiphany Anglican Fellowship.
2021:  2020 was a difficult year. Holy Trinity, like most faith communities had to become agile in its responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. We moved our mid-week meetings/studies online, began to stream our Sunday classes and services and began to explore new ways to stay involved in one another's lives. In addition, we continued searching for property that would better accommodate our needs and we found it! Holy Trinity purchased 36 Garden Center Dr. in the heart of Broomfield in March of 2021 and began the process of turning this new space into the place where we will gather to worship and pray. Though there is still much to do to turn the space into that which will best serve HTAC and our community, we held our first service here on Sunday April 25. And now we set ourselves to the work of raising the funds necessary to complete the work. Come join us as we seek to build a place for ALL to find joy and peace and rest and above all the One we call Love.

Growing into our own...

2009: Fr. Greg accepted a call to serve as a chaplain at the Citadel in South Carolina and left Epiphany Anglican Fellowship. It was then that Holy Trinity’s current Pastor, Fr. Chris Bollegar, was called to lead the church, and has faithfully served ever since. In 2011, Epiphany moved from a space they were renting at the Broomfield Community Center to their current location in the Ministry Center of the Presbyterian Church of Broomfield located at 360 Main St.

2013: Epiphany church merged with another group of Anglicans who had been worshipping in various locations around Broomfield for several years. The merge alled them to transition from a 'site-church' of Epiphany Anglican Fellowship into their own church body. To mark this occasion, the church changed its name once more to its current name, Holy Trinity Anglican Church. We are still in communion with our foreign partners and are currently under the Episcopal care of Bishop Sospeter Ndenza of the diocese of Kibondo Tanzania.

Our New Home

Where we are headed...

As Holy Trinity looks into the future, we hold at least two things very closely. First of all, we desire to be a place where we can learn to love and to be loved, to forgive and be forgiven, to listen and be heard. Secondly, we desire to curate a space where God, the transcendent, mystery, wonder, worship and devotion are central...a space where we are confronted and comforted through the living union of our Source and End: our Alpha and Omega. We look forward in hope and most importantly, we look forward together.

Be a part of our story...

Join us every Sunday as we gather to worship together a 10:00 a.m.
